After twenty years in the competitive commercial retail leasing market of stores and high profile restaurants in New York City, David relocated back home to Rehoboth Beach and Sussex County and became a Re/Max Realtor in 2005. He then quickly established himself as one of the most competitive realtors throughout Sussex County and the resort areas.

After graduating from Valley Forge Military Academy and attending the University of Delaware David worked for his family’s clothing business, King’s Men Shop in Dover. Upon moving to Manhattan in 1983 David worked as Managing Director and Director in Landlord / Tenant Representation for such brokerage firms as Joseph P. Day, Newmark & Company and Ripco Realty. During this time he completed store and restaurant lease negotiations throughout New York City’s five boroughs with a strong concentration in Manhattan in such areas as Rockefeller Center, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Madison Avenue, The Chrysler Building, The Empire State Building and The Ed Sullivan Theatre, home of the David Letterman show. David’s clients included national tenants such as Starbucks, Barney’s, McDonald’s, Sbarro Inc., Chase Manhattan Bank, Barnes & Noble Bookstores, Florscheim Shoes, Thomas Moser Cabinet Makers, Jacadi Children’s Wear, Junior’s Cheesecakes, and Subway Sandwiches along with numerous local tenants.

Originally from the Dover and Rehoboth Beach area David has close to 30 years of combined experience and knowledge in real estate. He communicates on a daily basis with sellers, buyers, builders, lenders, attorneys and real estate agents making sure everything comes together for settlements along with communicating with advertising, website and marketing teams for all his exclusive listings. As a full service realtor David has sold numerous high end Oceanfront properties, commercial properties, Condo and Townhomes and has also developed several sub divisions and communities throughout Sussex County. Success in these areas has brought several awards from the Re/Max organization.
